My big brother fought his cancer with strength, dignity, and a courageous spirit. May God bless all of those fighting this disease - and may continued research offer hope for the future.
For my best friend Bruce, cancer may have stolen your body but you'll live on forever in the hearts and minds of everyone you met. We remember, "No man is a failure who has friends."
You fought with strength and courage everyday. Your beautiful family loves and misses you, but knows you are at peace and with your great love.
Happy Birthday Dear Friend!
I love you very much and miss you every day.
Honey, In your honor, lets find a cure to lung and bone cancer. Lets save lives and be part of the cause to help many live longer and happier.
Mom, I love you. I am 18 today. I miss you....... Today's donation will help many to see birthdays!
Our Granny Jean was a fighter. She loved spending time with all of her kids and grandkids. Christmas this year without her just wasn't the same, but we are so thankful that we will get to see her again. We know you are in heaven, Granny Jean. We will continue to make you proud until we see you again!
My friend, Tammy, spoke so highly of her care at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago. I just wanted to help in my small way to continue the work that they do there. She lost the battle on Christmas Day, 2012. She will be missed more than my words can ever express. I truly believe that some day a cure will be found.
In loving memories from your grandson and family rest in peace we love you
In honor of your courage, inspiration and beauty as you fight. Believe.
Its been 9 years Dad. I still think about you every day.
Miss You, Buddy
Ken was a wonderful man and a great gift to this world. His battle with cancer is an example for all of us about how to fight with courage and grace. Sadly, he left us on July 20, 2012... way too soon. I thank him for introducing me to The Gateway for Cancer Research and for bringing such joy to the world. You will be missed friend.
In memory of loved ones who are not on earth to share this day with Jade and Steve as they begin their life as husband and wife. You are always in our hearts.
I pray that my small donation will help to make a difference. Thank you
Happy Sweet 16 Paige! You are always in our thoughts and very missed!!!
July 26, 2012 will mark the 10-year anniversary of my stem cell transplant - the day I was truly reborn and given a second chance! I celebrate this 2nd Birthday every year, and am constantly amazed at how many wonderful things have happened in the past 10 years. My donation is in honor of all of those who have bravely fought this disease, but especially in memory of two friends who also underwent transplants but lost their battle. They remain an inspiration to me.
Don't make cancer patients take the blame for their disease. Cancer is an epidemic. We need scientific cures now. As long a mammograms don't work on dense breasts, MRIs aren't the standard of care for screening, and woman aren't covered for annual preventative pelvic ultrasounds early detection is a farce for many woman diagnosed at stages three and four. Many young women have no chance at early detection - so give them a chance at long term survival.
Barbie, You left us far too early, but your zest for life and laughter lives on through all your family and friends that love and remember you. I am funding a week of cancer research in your memory to demand a cure. Love you, Lauren
